Inks Lake Work Day 2009

Knowing the natural Texas -- from the wilds of rural areas to the squirrels in a city park to a wildflower in our backyard -- inspires us to a new appreciation of our environment and enhances our love of nature. Acting on this appreciation leads us to promoting the conservation of natural Texas so that others will be able to enjoy these wonderful resources for years to come. Such conservation measures are fulfilled by actively engaging in wildlife and natural resource management at many different levels. Participating in such complex management activities involves each of us in a process of ongoing learning, of meaningful volunteering in the community, and of enjoying all aspects of natural Texas.

If you would like to learn more about our Highland Lakes habitat, explore our site and visit the other web sites on our links page.
