Approved Service Projects
1. Habitat restoration, exotic plant removal, brush maintenance.
2. Interpretation: docent, leading hikes.
3. Native plant planting, gardening, maintenance, design.
4. Trail design, construction, maintenance.
5. Environmental education, lectures, writing, shows, tours.
6. Plant, animal surveys, tagging, bird counts.
7. Water quality testing, research.
8. Wildlife rescue.
9. Chapter administrative business.
10. Chapter general member meetings (one hour).
11. Assistance provided to the Cooperative Service or Texas Parks Service.
12. Nature Quest.
13. NWF or state Backyard Habitat Programs.
14. Participation in County Lawn and Garden Show.
NOTE: All volunteer projects not listed above must be approved, in advance, by the Projects and Training Committee.
